Scholarship Theme:

Textures of Home

Please keep in mind, when developing your art concept, that while the theme is Textures of Home, the art piece should also reflect some aspect of the home interiors and/or flooring world. That may come in many forms. For example, you might focus on the colors and textures of your home or your dream home, and how those inspire you. You could consider the ways where you stand and where you live affect your life and how you see the world. Does your home, your windows, your floors bring you energy, peace, inspiration, etc?

Past Scholarships

Spring 2023 - Santa Rosa HS

 

SRHS students Georgette Cheriff and Brigitte Blodgett were awarded college and art school scholarships last week at our Santa Rosa location. Georgette was awarded $1000 for her first-place submission (a diorama) titled, "Textures of Home." She will save the scholarship for tuition at a four-year art college. Brigitte will use her runner-up scholarship of $250 to attend CSSSA this summer (California State Summer School for the Arts is a rigorous, month-long training program in the visual and performing arts).
